Description
In it's 4th year..... book your place on the "Gunpowder, Treason and Plot!" Tour
Remember, Remember, the 5th of November! The poem taught to English children over the years is common and known in association with Guy Fawkes. Who was Guy Fawkes? Did he act alone? What was he trying to do?
This fun and informative walk takes you on a stroll through the central government buildings of London, explaining as we go some of the more memorable events of the 17th & 18th Century. Learn how a King lost his crown (and his head), how an Admiral enjoyed a drink or two after his death, and how the greatest plot to destroy the government was foiled and avoided. Discover the REAL reason we celebrate Guy Fawkes Day!
This walk is approximately 2 hours and is suitable for adults, children, families, strollers/prams, wheelchairs (and dogs too).
